I am grateful to God for this opportunity to share my business spotlight interview with Fathiyyah Muhammad. She shares her very inspiring story behind the creation of Tiyahs Reflections a greeting cards design business. She discusses with me how her greeting cards are unique in the sense that they celebrate a beautiful variety of cultures and bold expressions on clean, quality card stock. They don’t tiptoe around the truth—they say what needs to be said and will speak for you.

Nadine Muhammad: Please, would you tell our readers about yourself?

Fathiyyah Muhammad: As-Salaam Alaikum! (Peace Be Unto You) My name is Fathiyyah Muhammad. I have been a proud citizen of the great Nation of Islam for over 30 years under the divine leadership of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, represented by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. I’ve been blessed to have a phenomenal, loving family who have supported me on my entrepreneurial journey every step of the way. I value freedom and creativity, which is why working to be financially independent is a tangible goal for me. I enjoy all of the arts and have studied martial arts, theater, writing, and a small bit of Spanish. I am also the proud owner of Tiyahs Reflections, where "Real Expression" is always trending. We offer a variety of beautifully bold and unique Greeting cards designed with careful thought. Our ultimate goal is to unite minds and hearts across the globe, one card at a time. And to help you express your thoughts and inspire the special people in your life.

Nadine Muhammad: Share with us the story behind Tiyahs Reflections: the inspiration for starting,history, mission, and  purpose.

Fathiyyah Muhammad: Certainly, Writing was my fantastic escape as a young girl to worlds never discovered. It allowed me to create my own imperfect realities and explore life's unanswered questions. I've decided to use the pen to bring my expressions to life on coffee mugs, t-shirts, hats, bags, note cards, and greeting cards, just to name a few. Because I've never been ordinary, my expressions cannot be either. My mission is to inspire, ignite our self-accusing spirit, and heal humanity, especially women, thus, Tiyahs Reflections Greeting Card line was born. Our Beloved Minister said he would go to every corner of the earth and spread this gospel. I’d like to help him by distributing truth and healing around the globe, one card at a time. I would also strive to see our phenomenal cards in retail stores!

Fathiyyah Muhammad: And so, I'm delighted to introduce my one of a kind “You Are Not A Bitch Line” inspired by my teacher and guide, Minister Louis Farrakhan, because his sincere love and dedication for women is unparalleled. Women are hurting for the lack of knowledge and for the lack of acceptance of who they truly are and whom they truly belong to: God. I desire to share the Life-Giving Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad through touching sentiments that our customers can appreciate.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us to “do for self or suffer the consequences”. He also teaches us that we cannot compete in business unless we unite and get some of this earth so that we can produce our own people’s needs”. I want to be found by the Master building legacies for my family, people, and Nation InshaAllah!
