Business Spotlight Interview with Azizah Muhammad of Rise Magazine
I am grateful to God for this business spotlight interview with the editor-in-chief, Azizah Muhammad, of Rise Magazine Atlanta, Georgia. She shares with me the vision and desire of Student Regional Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad for Rise Magazine to share unedited truth and a creative media outlet that is written and promoted by us, rather than by the hands of our open-enemy.
Nadine Muhammad: Please, would you tell our readers about yourself?
Azizah Muhammad: I am Azizah Muhammad, and I work as the editor-in-chief for Rise Magazine under the permission and supervision of Student Regional Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad, the Southern Regional Minister of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.
As a young girl, I enjoyed reading and writing. I always found comfort in the artistic expression of written words. For me, writing has always been therapeutic. Aside from writing, I've also always loved reading about other people's challenges and accomplishments. There's so much you can learn about a person from hearing their stories!
Nadine Muhammad: Share with us the story behind Rise Magazine of Atlanta, Georgia: the inspiration for starting ,history, mission, and purpose.
Azizah Muhammad: Rise Magazine was founded by Student Regional Minister Abdul Sharrieff Muhammad. His vision and desire for Rise Magazine is to share with our readers unedited truth and a creative media outlet that is written and promoted by us, rather than by the hands of our open-enemy.

By Allah's Grace, anyone who knows Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff knows that he has a deep love for Master Fard Muhammad (The Great Mahdi), the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff demonstrates his love for THE THREE by way of dutiful and loyal action. And so, the birth of Rise Magazine started with a suggestion by The Minister when he told Student Minister Abdul Sharrieff: “Brother, why don't you start a magazine.”

The mission and purpose for Rise Magazine was to create a written and visual expression of what the Muslims believe, what the Muslims are doing, unity amongst Black people, and why we must do something for ourselves!!!
