Eating Carrots Will Keep You Looking Young

In a Final Call Newspaper article that quotes from the book, How To Eat To Live, Book Two, by The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, titled Try and Eat Fresh Foods, it states, "Do not eat too many green greens. They are not good for you, especially the collard greens and the cabbage sprouts. Do not eat them. There are plenty of herbs and vegetables that you can eat other than these. One vegetable that we should eat is carrots. By adding carrots to our diet, we benefit from its antiaging properties.
According to (Varshney & Mishra, 2022), in the article, An analysis of Health Benefits of a Carrot. "Carotenoids, polyphenols, & vitamins found in carrots function as antioxidants, anticarcinogens, & immune enhancers, proving ancient saying that carrots are excellent for the eyes. Carrots have shown to have anti-diabetic, cholesterol & cardiac disease reducing, anti-hypertensive, and wound healing properties.
Also mentioned in the article is that "carrots are rich in nutrients, and have many health advantages. Carrots are high in carotenoids, phenolic compounds, polyacetylenes, and vitamins, and as a result, may help decrease the risk of some illnesses" (Varshney & Mishra, 2022).
Vitamin C in Carrots
Finally, carrots are high in vitamin C. (Varshney & Mishra, 2022), state that "Carrots are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, so they keep you looking young & healthy. Carrots may be used to make a simple & cheap face mask. To achieve glowing skin, all you have to do is combine shredded carrots with honey & apply it as a face mask".
Carrots Slows Down the Aging Process
"Collagen is a kind of protein that is necessary for skin's suppleness to be maintained. It helps to prevent wrinkles & slow down aging process. Vitamin A, as an antioxidant, fights free radicals to prevent wrinkles, discoloration, and an uneven skin tone, all of which are symptoms of aging" (Varshney & Mishra, 2022).
