Interview with Author, Fatimah Muhammad

Nadine Muhammad: You're welcome SIS.  and thank you  again for accepting our invitation to do this  interview article to inform our readers about the story behind your book and journal. 

 

Nadine Muhammad: Please, would you tell our readers about yourself?

Fatimah Muhammad: I am Fatimah Muhammad-a devoted wife, mother of four, and an established entrepreneur. Armed with a solid academic foundation in marketing and international business, I have amassed over 30 years of invaluable experience working with women from across diverse communities and nonprofit organizations.  My dedication to uplifting the Black woman is not merely a commitment; it is deeply ingrained in my ethos. As a registered active member of the Nation of Islam and the M.G.T. & G.C.C. for over 33 years, and a proud sister of who pledged Alpha Kappa  Alpha Sorority, Inc. over 28 years ago, I bring a unique perspective and a profound understanding of issues facing Black women. Throughout my professional journey, I have consistently demonstrated a resolute drive for the empowerment and advancement of Black women.

 

Nadine Muhammad:  What is your motivation for writing your book?

Fatimah Muhammad: This passion has been the guiding force behind my establishing At My Sister’s House Media, Publishing, and Community Outreach. My work in various capacities, working alongside Black women of various backgrounds, have driven me to see the invaluable need to assist in our self-discovery of our true value and divine rights. Understanding we can’t rise as a people until the Black woman rise, I wrote, “Boldly Beautiful: I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH.”

 

Nadine Muhammad: Would you  tell us what your book is  about?

Fatimah Muhammad: This is not just a book, it’s a resounding declaration that empowers Black women to reclaim their self-worth through self- care and self-discovery.  With an unwavering confidence, this transformative guide leads you on a journey to embrace your authentic self and recognize that you are more than enough. 

 

 

Nadine Muhammad: What are the benefits that readers will obtain from  your journal, and how will their lives be transformed? 

Fatima Muhammad: In addition to my first book, I released “Resilient & Radiant: 52- week Guided Journal for the Black Woman’s Self-Empowerment.” This journal was designed to offer a transformative journey to self-discovery through affirmations, journaling, words of encouragement, and writing prompts.
